‘Remanufacturing’ for less waste, and less cost

Our ‘remanufacturing’ of vending equipment makes sound economic and environmental sense. It reduces wasteful and unnecessary scrapping of serviceable machinery, saves precious resources and provides you with an excellent value-for-money product. Millions of pounds have been invested in the Group’s state-of-the-art remanufacturing plant which is endorsed by equipment manufacturers and the environmental organisation, Living Earth.

Remanufacture should never be confused with refurbishment or reconditioning. It is a process that involves the complete rebuilding of a machine using brand new parts to return it to an ‘as new’ condition. Each cleaning, painting and refitting operation is undertaken using safe and environmentally-friendly processes. Every machine is tested and double-checked to stringent ISO 9002 quality standards by highly trained and qualified engineers. All panels and castings then undergo ultrasonic cleaning and respraying in a controlled environment and then screen printed with the manufacturer’s name and model number to exactly match its ‘as new’ appearance.

The engineer then rebuilds his machine by hand to its original specifications using brand new parts. Any updated technical requirements and software are automatically incorporated - including any new instructions and safety labels. Every part is tested, readjusted if necessary, and put through its paces. All functions are verified for reliability.

Finally, the machine is 'flash tested’ to ensure total electrical safety before being carefully transported to its new customer.
